Can anything be done to counteract the latest spate of tree vandalism in our area?
Several trees in Burngreave cemetery have been ring barked or have had lower branches torn off. A rowan tree on the small green space between Firshill and St Catherine's primary schools has been hacked off at waist level.
Children in school are being taught to respect and care for nature. Seeing the mindless destruction pictured immediately outside their school is no example for these young minds.
