On Sunday 9th November a small group of scouts, local residents and visitors to Burngreave cemetery met, as in previous years, at the war memorial to pay their respects.
A 2 minutes silence was observed at 11.00 am and wreaths and crosses were laid by the Friends of Burngreave Cemetery and the Scouts, in memory of those who died or were injured in the great war and battles since.
