Migration and Immigration – promoting the facts and tackling the fictions

The Sheffield Cohesion Advisory Group invites the Voluntary, Community and Faith sectors to their annual community conference on Monday March 24th, 9.45am to 12.45pm at Sheffield Town Hall.

This conference will provide a useful forum for discussing issues in Page Hall. It will address a range of important issues.

• What is working to address the impact of migration and immigration in the community?

• What is the reality of migration and immigration issues on the ground?

• What is the Cohesion Advisory Group and what does it do? How can I get involved?

• Facilitated discussion

• Networking

• Examples of practice: Who Is Your Neighbour Project; Cohesion work in Page Hall.

The Cohesion Advisory Group community conference is held annually to maintain connections with the community by reporting back on our activities, seeking advice and talking together about sustaining community cohesion in the city. It provides a forum to promote dialogue between partners from all sectors and to learn from each other.
