During the Tour de France race on Sunday 6th July road closures will be in place from 7:30am until 7:30pm that night.
In order to ensure a safe environment for the Tour de France no cars my be parked on the route.
Residents should make plans to park vehicles away from the route from the evening of Saturday 5th July to an alternative location if they need to use their vehicle on the 6th July.
Cars that are left parked on closed roads during this time period will be towed in accordance with The Highways Act of 1980
Bus services will be limited in some areas however there will be additional tram services on the 6th July
If residents living on the route require medical treatment on the 6th of July please can you encourage them to speak to their care provider in advance.
Whether you choose to be a spectator or need to carry on with your normal Sunday routine we recommend you set of early as it will take longer to get to your destination.

The first cyclists are estimated to leave Grenoside at 2.16 pm and to arrive at Jenkin Road at 2.37 pm.
