Amey Streets Ahead Fund

Applications are now being invited for the Amey Streets Ahead Community Partnership Fund 2014

Community groups, charities and voluntary organisations across Sheffield are being invited to apply for a share of Amey’s Streets Ahead Community Partnership Fund.

The company which delivers the Streets Ahead highways project on behalf of Sheffield City Council is looking to support five organisations in 2014.

The successful applicants will be offered up to £1,000 towards projects benefitting the local environment, promoting good relationships between residents and businesses or which help people feel safer in public places.

Streets Ahead Business Director Rob Allen said:

“Amey works closely with communities across Sheffield and always strives to be a good neighbour. We are regularly asked for help by all sorts of different groups so are delighted to announce the launch of this fund which should help some of them make a real difference to the communities they serve.”

The fund is open to registered Sheffield based charities and community groups which can demonstrate the donation will support positive community activities or provide a long-term benefit to the wider community.

Amey Streets Ahead will not fund organisations that discriminate on the basis of age, gender, ethnicity or disability or which are designed to influence legislation or elect candidates to public office.

Please complete the attached application form and return it to helen.judge@amey.co.uk

The deadline for applications is 5.00pm Friday 4 July 2014 and following informal interviews, a decision will be announced at the end of July.
