Now that the works to improve Ellesmere Green have been completed, the council want to make sure that it stays clean and tidy. The council provide services to keep the area clean throughout the week but resources are limited at the weekend.
Volunteers are wanted to help litter pick on Ellesmere Green and the planters outside Sorby House at sometime during the weekends. It would be nice to keep the Green looking as clean as possible on Saturdays and Sundays, when a lot of people will visit the area.
It is expected this will only take 15 minutes and if there is a group of volunteers on a rota, you will only have to do it once every few weeks. Some training and equipment will be provided.
