Join the Burngreave Library Campaign at the Town Hall

Local residents will be gathering at the Town Hall on Wednesday at 1pm to campaign for Burngreave Library to stay open and staffed.

Pye Bank Parents Group will be presenting their petition of over 1100 signatures, along with other local residents who have supported the campaign. Nine other libraries will also be presenting their petitions at the Full Council meeting, and all the library campaigns will be gathering at 1pm to demonstrate together.

Two libraries, Totley and Greenhill, have combined their petitions so that 5000 signatures has been reached, and this will trigger a full debate at Councillors.

Local residents can support the campaign by joining the demonstration between 1 and 2pm on Wednesday 8th January at the Town Hall.
