Lend a hand at Crabtree Ponds, your local nature reserve. Help from local volunteers is always welcome. Tasks include litter-picking, habitat management, bulb planting, and infrastructure repairs. Tools, gloves, and refreshments will be provided – drop in whenever convenient, for as long as you like. and help us to keep Crabtree Ponds looking lovely. There will be a maintenance day 9.30 am to noon on 5th January 2015.
And if you're interested in Crabtree Pond nature reserve and would like to know more about its management, come along to the next meeting of the Reserve Advisory Group (RAG). This meeting is open to any members of the local community who visit the nature reserves, or would be interested in finding out more about them.
The meeting will start at 6pm on 12th January 2015 at St. James's Church on Scott Road to discuss the current and future management of Crabtree Ponds, as well as upcoming events and community work days to get involved with. Your views and ideas will be welcomed.
