Time: Wednesday 27th August 10am -12.30pm

Training covers up to date information on:

  • E -cigarettes

  • Shisha

  • Social Norms and Smokefree

  • Benefits of Smokefree environments

  • The effects of secondhand smoke

  • How to increase your confidence in talking to people about Smokefree Spaces making it easier for you to encourage people to make the change.

We will explore the issues surrounding social norms and smoking in the home and car, and you will learn how to discuss the issue in a sensitive and informed way.

Get involved

The Smokefree Spaces Service is also looking for citywide volunteer Smokefree Ambassadors to help out at events and to be our link into the community. Please get in touch if you would like to help support the service.
