Walk starts at Pitsmoor Surgery, lasts no longer than one hour and is at your own pace, followed by refreshments at Abbeyfield Park House. This is a gentle way to improve your health, have fun and meet new people in your local environment.

Themed Walk: The views from Wincobank Hill
This linear walk is from Firth Park to Burngreave, climbing to the summit of Wincobank Hill for fantastic views of the entire city. Includes a number of different parks and Burngreave Cemetery.

Themed Walk: ‘Life and Death in Burngreave’
A walk in Burngreave Cemetery with local history enthusiast Ron Clayton who will take you back in time to the pre Doctor Finlay days of Rickets, Diphtheria and TB, as well as the chilly days of outside privies.

Themed Walk: Urban Greens
Come along and explore Sheffield’s largest green space. As part of Walk Month join Friends of Parkwood Springs and Walk Boost who will be leading a walk of Parkwood Springs, the ancient Roe Woods and Crabtree Ponds Nature Reserve.

The walk follows the Five Weirs Walk to Meadowhall Interchange. It is mostly off road on solid paths alongside the River Don but is often muddy so appropriate footwear may be necessary.
