The Adira community is hosting a weekly clothes sale every Friday from 11am to 1pm at Trinity Methodist Church, Firth Park Road, Fir Vale.
The popular sale is aimed at everyone in the community, with clothes, bags, jewellery and shoes sold at ‘rock bottom prices.’ Adira predominantly supports single parent families in their quest to find affordable living, and the weekly clothing sale helps in this.
Adira also supports families to eat breakfast in the morning. Partnered alongside Fir Vale School, a breakfast club has been launched in the church.
Breakfast is vital for a fresh start to the day, but many families in the community are going without, depriving themselves of a good start to the day. The club provides breakfast for families every day, from 7:15am to 8:20am, by referral only.
Adira welcomes donations of all sorts including of clothes, shoes, jewellery and breakfast items such as bread, jams and cereals.
