It was a fun, free, family friendly Saturday night out in Burngreave at the “Cheap Thrills Zero Budget Film Festival.” The Cemetery Chapel was buzzing with over a hundred film goers all eager to see an array of films from local film makers.
It was standing room only with plenty of free popcorn, sweets and drinks for the crowd. Those who weren’t able to get in enjoyed a shadow theatre show outside under the moonlit sky.
This was an independent community event which began in 2011 after a group of Sheffield-based filmmakers won a prize of £750 in a film competition.
