At 1.00 pm on Saturday 22nd June 2013 there will be a meeting of the Friends of Abbeyfield Park.
The FOAP committee has been continuing discussions with the Council and wants to involve the wider Friends group.They would really appreciate your presence.
The Council have taken the position of FOAP seriously and are responding well to our initiatives. We have confidence in the future of Abbeyfield House and the opportunity this offers for a variety of levels of engagement from members of FOAP.
There are various events at the House that day:
10.00am Green City Action are re-launching the Toolbank followed by an activity of some sort, making of nest boxes has been suggested. Anyone who would like to attend this is welcome.
10.00am onwards: The Chilean Group are exhibiting their tapestries in the Community Room.
11.30am Jamie Lang and Tim Neal will be offering a Tour of Abbeyfield House looking at the history of the building and and a chance to see what activities are taking place currently in the House.
12.00pm FOAP and Green City Action will be offering a tasty lunch as well as refreshments.
