The building design, which will occupy a vacant stretch of land between Fir Vale School and the rear of Owler Lane, features a two storey teaching block and a single storey flexible space for staff, learning activities, school meals, sports and community use.

Conditional planning consent was given on the 3rd July. The conditions are detailed on the Council's planning website.

The Council aims to have the school constructed and open in time for the start of the new academic year in September 2014.
