Friends of Parkwood Springs will be holding litter picking and practical work sessions on the 4th Saturday of each month, January to March, from 10am to 12 noon.

Come along and help: take your chance to raise issues on site with Jon Dallow from the Council. Tools supplied, Rangers on hand to show you what to do.
Wrap up warm, wear suitable clothes and footwear.

Walk with the Ramblers
Tuesday 5th February 9.55am
A walk including some of the less visited parts of Parkwood Springs, Wardsend Cemetery, Roe Wood and Crabtree Pond. About 5-6 miles. Includes some steep slopes and rough paths.
Boots needed. Bring a drink and packed lunch.
Join the ramblers on the 9.43am 83 bus from Arundel Gate, or meet them at Pitsmoor Post Office punctually at 9.55.

Easy going walk round Parkwood Springs and Roe Woods
Saturday 23rd April 10.50am
Join Walking Out in Sheffield walkers for a gentle walk of about 2 hours (3 miles or so) on good paths around the top part of Parkwood Springs and Roe Woods.
Wear stout shoes/ boots. Bring a drink and a snack.
Meet at the bus interchange in town, by W H Smith’s at 10.00am or join at the ‘Spirit of Parkwood’ on Cookswood Rd/Shirecliffe Rd at 10.50pm
