With the help of Sheffield Interfaith Group the Parkwood Springs Forest Garden has gone from strength to strength.
Five black mulberry trees have been planted on the open space above the helipad. A replacement mountain ash has been planted nearby. In national tree week 100 native trees were planted near the playing fields. The Rotary Club provided the trees through the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Tree Scheme and the planting was attended by members of the Rotary Club, the Friends of Parkwood Springs, Community Forestry and the Lord Mayor.
