The Council is proposing that 14 of the city's 27 community libraries are to close. The Council is calling on organisations to come forward to manage them. No details have been released about which libraries are to close but Burngreave is particularly at risk as one of the smaller libraries. In the recent Libraries review, local residents said computer and internet access in libraries is important.
