St Catherines Dementia Café

St Caths Nursing Home

St Catherines Nursing Home is launching a new monthly Dementia Café, which will be opening its doors for the first time on Wednesday 24th October at 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

A Dementia Café is a friendly and comfortable place where people with dementia and their carers can come together to socialise and get information and support.

People can come along and meet others in the same boat, talk to experienced carers and nurses for advice, and enjoy activities and refreshments.

The sessions are for anyone living with Dementia, and relatives or carers of those living with dementia.

The first meeting will take place on Wednesday 24th October at 2:30 pm. After that the plan is to hold them on the last Wednesday of every month.

As well as the monthly Dementia Café there will also be a Dementia drop-in on the other 3 Wednesdays of every month at 10:30 am till midday.
