Coffee morning and quiz about Charles Dickens with a prize
Monday 21st May, 10.00 am – 12.30 pm at Burngreave Library
This is part of the Dickens 2012 Initiative which is an international celebration of the life and work of Charles Dickens to mark the bicentenary of his birth in 1812.
In Sheffield city libraries we are celebrating by giving free copies of Oliver Twist away.
On 21st May at Burngreave Library we are holding a coffee morning with quiz and prizes.
People who take a copy of the book will be asked to share their thoughts/interest on the blog at:
http://www.sheffieldreads.wordpress.com
and pass the copy onto someone else when they have read it.
Staff will be dressed as Victorians and will be giving away the free copies of Oliver Twist.
