Mothers of Burngreave Network held a successful fundraising event on 13th April at Verdon Recreation Centre.
Children and their mothers attended along with a number of invited guests. Everyone was able to enjoy food, henna, face painting and dancing. All this was provided by volunteers from the group, who raised around £300 on the day. The money will go towards more activities at the Centre, where the members of the group are developing a programme of activities for mothers and their children.
