The team behind last year’s highly successful ‘Cheap Thrills’ Burngreave film festival have decided to ‘push the boat out again and go for broke’.
Steve said, “The French have Cannes, in America they have Sundance, we felt that Burngreave deserved its own festival where local talent can shine. Cheap Thrills may not have the money or the stars but it is cheap.”
Martin, Steve and Peter will be running two one-day filmmaking workshops. The submission of films is free and the festival will include as many as possible. The team would like each film to be no longer than 5 minutes and if it’s boring or looks expensive, they may not show it.
