Grade: Scale 3 Spinal Point 22-25 (£19,621 – £21,519 pro rata
8% pension contribution

As part of the Health Team the Health Development Worker will work with community projects and workers to:
Enhance the Health and Well being of local people by adopting an asset based community development approach to:
Deliver a programme of health and lifestyle initiatives within community settings.
Support local people to access existing services and health initiatives.
Identify barriers to local people accessing service & gaps in services.
Work to positively to address these barriers and forge links with other service providers to provide greater connectivity in delivery.
Work to objectives within the Burngreave Healthy Communities Programme.
SOAR is a regeneration charity in North Sheffield which provides a number of services for the community including health services, buildings management, training and support into employment.
SOAR has an exciting opportunity in our Health Team to work with community projects and workers within the Burngreave, Abbeyfield, Fir Vale, Firshill and Woodside Healthy Communities Programme (HCP).
