A wooden head, carved from the stump of a Rowan tree, has appeared on Ellesmere Road North. The section of trunk was left after the tree was felled earlier this year.

Sadly this specially commissioned work of street art by Sheffield artist Simon Kane was removed by Sheffield council yesterday 28/1/13. No explanation was given.
