Sheffield Interfaith invite you to join them at the
Parkwood Springs Interfaith Forest Garden
Saturday 11th August 2012 – 11am-2pm
We will be undertaking fruit tree husbandry and general maintenance. There will also be another chance for a guided walk around the garden where many of the plants are now developing fruit.
Please bring food and drink
Come with nothing but your prayers, blessings, songs, poems, readings, music, dance or whatever
Let's have an enjoyable time with our common mother, Planet Earth
Please note there are no public conveniences on site or facilities for seating, so do come prepared. Wear sturdy shoes and do come prepared for the weather.
Meet at the entrance of the Cooks Wood Rd car park – opposite flats 104 to 138 – from 10.45am. Please note that car-parking will be on Cooks Wood Road, due to current works on the site.
Travel: Buses – 33 to Shirecliffe Road/ 47, 48, 75, 76, 88, 83, 87, 97 or 98 to Pitsmoor Road/Barnsley Road (and ten-minute walk).
The event is organised jointly by: Sheffield Interfaith, Sheffield City Council Community Forestry Team, Burngreave Ashram, Islamic Society of Great Britain, Hindu Samaj, British Humanist Association, Shirley House Interfaith Centre, Pagan Pathways and The Blue Loop.
