Pirate Thursdays at Victoria Quays

Whether you are a pirate princess or pirate fiend, swashbuckle your way down to Victoria Quays and join in the piratical fun by the waterside. There will be treasure hunts, arts and crafts, brass rubbings and boat trips (chargeable) to take your fancy. Pirate fancy dress is encouraged!
All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult
River Dipping on the Don
Sunday 1-3pm August 12
Meet at the Wicker Arch, next to SYAC

Ever wondered what lurks beneath the water of the Don? Now the river is clean again there are all sorts of insects, fish and other animals living there. All equipment is provided but bring bug pots or magnifiers if you have them. Includes a short walk (with Sheffield Wildlife Trust)

Torch Lit Bat Walk
Friday 7.30-9.30pm August 31
Start and finish at Arch 18/19 at Victoria Quays

Join us for a twilight walk along the Blue Loop, where we’ll be looking out for bats swooping over the River & Canal hunting bugs for their dinner! Bring a torch, sensible footwear and a waterproof jacket.
