Burngreave Local History Group launched their first book, “Pitsmoor: a Peek into the Past,” in June at Burngreave Library. The Group celebrated with an exhibition of their research and some food to share. Thanks are due to Burngreave Library for use of the community room and for displaying the exhibition.
Books are availabe for £7 at Burngreave Library, Burngreave Cemetery Chapel on Sundays between 11am and 3pm, and from the Messenger office.
