Forest Garden planting day and barbecue

Friends of Parkwood Springs are organising a day of practical work at the Forest Garden, with a lunch-time barbecue.

Community Forester Ed Thatcher will be on hand to giv guidance so no particular knowledge or experience is needed.

Meet at 10.00 at the Cooks Wood Road/Shirecliffe Road entrance (at Little Pear Tree Field) to stroll over to the Forest Garden site, or join in later on.

If you can, bring some food to share – something to cook on the barbecue perhaps, some salad or whatever.

For more info contact Neill Schofield on 0114 272 4499, or on the day on 0777 156 4883.
