Funding Approved

Councillors approved the following projects at the Community Assembly meeting held on 27th April for Burngreave Ward:

  • Continued funding to employ a dedicated Activity Sheffield worker for the ward

  • Increased spending(£30,000)on initiatives designed to get local people into employment

  • Reduced spending on floral features and festive lighting but new lights on Ellesmere Green trees

  • Funding for 3 Bring Out Your Rubbish days

  • Continued funding (£4,000) for pruning some of the most overgrown street trees in the Norwood and Abbeyfield areas
