Academies Meeting

A public meeting has been organised to discuss the implications of the Government’s Academies programme for local schools.

The meeting for the North East Community Assembly area will take place on:

Tuesday 12 July 7.00 – 8.30pm, in Longley Park Sixth Form College, Drama Studio

The meeting will be chaired by Cllr Jackie Drayton. The Executive Director for Children and Young People, Dr Sonia Sharp, will make a presentation and the session will include speakers from the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust and the Anti-Academies Alliance.
