The Go ON Sheffield – get more out of life online campaign aims to inspire people to make going online their New Year’s Resolution!
A number of events and activities are happening across Sheffield throughout January and February and here in Burngreave to support getting people online for the first time.
Taster sessions are being held in venues across the city including the Town Hall, libraries, The Moor and also at your local UK online centre.
Whether you’re looking for a bargain, a new job or new ways to keep in touch with family and friends, you could get more out of life online!
Around one in five people in Sheffield don’t use computers and the internet, and are missing out on all the benefits, opportunities and even savings they can provide. Go ON Sheffield aims to inspire Sheffield residents to go online this New Year, and get more out of life as a result!
The idea is that visitors to, Go ON Sheffield events will get the chance to find out how the internet could help them in everyday life – from getting on at work to keeping in touch with family and friends, exploring interests to saving time and money.
We want to help everybody to access the internet and it doesn’t matter if you’ve never even touched a computer before. Staff and volunteers in UK online centres are ready to support you in using computers and the internet for the first time. So go on make going online it your New Year’s resolution!
