Story: Ruqayyah Fatimah Saddiq (Volunteer)
Reach High 2 ended their academic year with a delightful celebration event. All the children who were part of the project filled the event with a cheerful and joyful atmosphere.
The events involved a variety of activities for the children to take part in and allowed them sit back and have fun! These activities consisted of a treasure hunt, bouncy castle, sumo suits and a wide range of other activities.
A BBQ was set up where staff provided an assortment of foods, desserts and drinks. A big thank you to the children and staff at Reach High2, for contributing and allowing us to have such a diversity of food and drinks at our BBQ.
The event was such a success, mainly due to both staff and children working collectively, and as a team succeed in allowing everyone at Reach High 2 to have an ecstatic time!
Reach High 2 isn’t stopping there: this summer, the project is running a summer play scheme where children aged 8-13yrs can come along and enjoy a range of activities from sports, cycling, baking and arts and crafts.
This will be running from Monday 25th to Thursday 28th July between the times of 2pm-8pm, it is £1 per day. Parents need to sign a consent form giving permission for their children to attend the play scheme.
