Open Day at Robey St

83 Robey St is a traditional Sheffield terraced house that has been adapted to modern environmental standards.

On Monday, 9th of May, the house is open to the public to view.

Traditional houses are often considered “hard to treat” because they can’t be insulted with cavity-wall insulation. This show-house shows how traditional houses can be converted for modern, sustainable use.

Come inside and see how a typical Sheffield terraced house has been transformed into a highly energy efficient home!

See the technologies that are currently available to reduce carbon emissions and fuel bills in hard to treat homes.

Members of the Groundwork Green Doctors and the South Yorkshire Energy Centre will be on hand to answer any questions or queries you may have about the building or the technologies used and how you can get involved.
