World-Wide News

Poem: Sylvia Reaney

We read and listen, to the world wide news

Always distressing of evil and abuse

Murders, mobster’s muggings, and everything that is bad

Nothing to amuse just everything that’s sad

Each day there’s anger

Brutality near and far alas, now

Every country is at war

Still, there are many many good people

One day they will win

By giving creed and culture with understanding

Then a peaceful world we all can live in
