Friends of Parkwood Springs family picnic

Parachute success

The first event organised directly by the Friends of Parkwood Springs took place on 25 July 2010.

The parachute was a great success.

With much help from the Rangers, we put up two marquees, serving refreshments and supplying information in one and games for children in the other. We had feely boxes, dragonfly and butterfly making.

It was a good start. The Friends spent the next two days cleaning up litter from the worst areas of Parkwood Springs, again with the help of the Rangers.

We hope to see you somewhere on Parkwood Springs soon!

Footie fun
