Road Safety is an important part of the Assembly’s Community Plan.
Several speed warning signs have been purchased with sad and smiley faces to try and slow down motorists on some of our more dangerous roads. They have been used recently on Herries Road and Barnsley Road. The most common cause of deaths of young people (5-24 years) is from road traffic accidents.
