The 30th August Bank Holiday saw SADACCA's International Community Cultural Day, following the one held last year in June.
The event brought together communities from all over Sheffield to celebrate the holiday with children, parents and the varied cultures that live in the area.
Lord Mayor Councillor Alan Law and SADACCA manager, Ricky Bennett greeted everyone and thanked them for attending and helping to make it happen.
The entertainment began with three Zimbabwean musicians who combined congas and other African instruments with singing, dancing and traditional dress. The group also offered African crafts for sale.
Next, SADACCA's women's singers came to the stage. They stepped rhythmically towards the front, feet tapping, hands clapping, singing Caribbean songs to delight the audience and express their passion for song.
Janet Woods took the final slot before lunch. With a powerful vocal style, she left the audience astounded at her performance.
After a complimentary meal, Mr Bennett announced the children's talent show. Judges watched as young people delivered performances of break dancing, Amy Winehouse covers and even a trumpet solo. After their performances, the children were given feedback from the judges before a winner was announced and prizes, including presents, cash and vouchers, were awarded.
In the end, the event proved an even better success than last year, with more people attending and enjoying themselves.
