Some took training seriously; some started a healthy diet; we all joined in with dressing up in pink. Team spirit was great - and our great sense of pride. We all feel we did something worthwhile and the money we raised is going to a very worthwhile cause.

Usha Blackham said, "We have cancer in the family, my mum went through a rough time and Aunty is still suffering."

Mandy Lawton said, "I took part in 2009's Race for Life after my father-in-law died from multiple brain tumours. It really hit home how this disease can affect everyone. I had never run or even jogged before. Now I try to fit it in twice a week."
