Councillors have purchased extra Bring Out Your Rubbish Days for the Burngreave Ward. Residents in the areas to be cleared are informed by a leaflet and Veolia lorries tour the area picking up items from the pavement outside their houses.
The areas that were cleared in July 2010 were Penrith Road, Catherine Street and Cooks Wood Road.
