The Burngreave councillors on the North East Community Assembly will hold a public meeting at the Vestry Hall on Thursday 24th September at 6pm.
The meeting is for members of the public to tell councillors what needs doing in the area and also to find out what the Community Assembly is doing. Based on the successful format of the area panel meetings, topics for discussion will include:
the “Community Plan” for the North East of the City
Area-Based Grant – funding for local organisations
Highways funding
“Climate Change Pot”
“Bring out your rubbish” days
the Council's Community Involvement Strategy
Burngreave Cemetery
The next formal meeting of the Community Assembly will be on Wednesday 21st October, between 6pm and 8pm, at Shirecliffe Community Centre.
