Performance and Monitoring Officer
£18,525 (pro-rata)
30 hrs per week
One year contract subject to renewal of funding
The Yemeni Community Association seeks a performance and monitoring officer to monitor and drive contract compliance in terms of outputs, targets, auditing systems and procedures, collection of data, production of reports and performance statistics.
Duties to include:
To initiate, develop and manage systems for measuring outputs and monitoring and reviewing performance of all projects and consortia’s.
To ensure that recording systems and procedures are maintained in accordance with all laid down internal requirements and grant provider guidance.

Study Support Consortium Manager
The Yemeni Community Association seeks a Study Support Consortium Manager to manage and sustain the successful Study Support Consortium Project.
£29,250 (pro rata)
18.5 hrs
Presently funded to March 2010
The successful candidate will have:
Ability to work strategically across a range of city-wide initiatives.
Substantial experience of working in the community sector and voluntary Sector
Ability to present well, orally, in writing and produce concise reports
Substantial management experience in education and other voluntary sector management
Proven ability to raise funds for similar initiatives
Duties to include:
Taking a lead role to ensure the sustainability of YCA young people’s activity and the wider study support consortium.
Overall responsibility for managing and monitoring the Study Support and Positive Activities consortia
Developing consistent quality measures and standards for all study support groups
Making effective links, and reaching agreements with, mainstream schools and the education authority
