Availability of childcare places is subject to the capacity and terms and conditions of childcare providers. Most providers have places for children from 2 years old. Special arrangements have to be made with childcare providers for babies from 6 months to 2 years. We are unable to offer or arrange any childcare for babies under 6 months old.

What is the purpose of the course?

  • To develop a deeper understanding of what health and wellbeing means to you, how everybody’s health and wellbeing influence your community and where you live.

  • To enable you to analyse your own personal strengths and abilities, reflect on areas that you want to develop, recognise your own qualities and how much you are of value in the community.

  • The programme empowers you to make your own informed choices, access services more appropriately and develop the skills and confidence to enable you to take advantage of opportunities which may become available.
