September is the start of a new term and residents will again be able to access a large range of courses in the area. This month's Adult Learning Guide, produced by BCAF's Adult learning working group, lists all the courses available. The listing is also available on the Messenger's website.
This term also see's the Vestry Hall expand its horizons to develop new courses available to learners in the early evening.
Twilight Classes at the Vestry Hall
From September 2009, Sheffield College and the Council’s Lifelong Learning & Skills Service are combining to offer a small programme of twilight classes, starting in the early evening. Most of these courses will be leisure learning for personal interest and fun. Courses will include:
Drama
Introduction to Complementary Therapies
Local History
Preparation for Citizenship.
Other possibilities are
Arabic
Art History
Making Sense of Art
Ceramics
Mosaics
Spanish
