Beacons Project: the Final Spark

Come and join storyteller Shonaleigh for the thrilling conclusion to the Firebird trilogy. A story of love and loss, side shows and circus, of a man juggling between two worlds and of a quest that must be completed before time runs out. We will set the beacon ablaze and the memory of the story will burn long after.

2008 saw the ‘Thread of fire’ continue as the Beacons project unfolded into its second year.

Celebrating Parkwood Springs and encouraging new visitors to the site, the now annual Beacons project sees storyteller Shonaleigh working with Handspring design, local schools, Rangers and the local community in this exciting autumnal event, telling the story of Jenny Greensleaves and lighting up the night sky. To read the story to date visit http://www.shonaleigh.f9.co.uk/ and click on the Beacons Project.
