Things are changing at the Forum. We have just registered as a limited company and on 24th October 2009 we will hold our first Annual General Meeting.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
1pm at the Vestry Hall
The meeting will start with lunch, shared with the Burngreave Messenger, also holding their AGM in the hall in the morning.
AGM business will be followed by the Quarterly Forum Meeting.
The theme will be ‘Who represents us?’
There have been big changes in local democracy, from New Deal to community Assemblies. Who do you turn to when you want your voice heard on an issue? Councillors? TARAs? community groups?
