Ellesmere Children's Centre hosts annual Multicultural Open Day

The award winning Ellesmere Children's Centre on Maxwell Street is throwing open its doors for this year's Annual Multicultural Event on Friday 26th June 2009 between 8.am – 6.00pm with food from three continents and Capoeira – a unique Afro-Brazilian art form that involves movement, games and dance.

This year's event should be even bigger and better than ever with a wide range of foods from Africa, Asia and Europe on offer along with entertainment of all sorts as well as a host of beauty treatments on offer to visitors. Visitors will also get the chance to see round the award winning children's centre and find out why it is so successful.

“Our multicultural open day is always a big hot with our parents, carers and children but this year we are throwing the invitation open to anyone who wants to come and experience the diverse cultures in Sheffield. Visitors can sample foods, music, dance, therapies and cosmetics from around the world while having great fun,” said Centre Manager, Sharon Curtis.
