Men's Health Programme

Free Discussion & Consultations in Burngreave

Every Thursday for ten weeks.

  • July 2nd at Verdon Recreation Centre, 12pm–3pm

  • Then from July 9th at The Furnival, Verdon Street, 1pm–3pm

Men take more risks with their health than women, yet they are less likely to make use of the services available, often because services and programmes are not delivered in ways that take account of men’s particular needs.

With these open sessions you will be able to come and discuss sensitive issues in an informal way, with a private meeting always being available.

Each week a fully qualified professional will give help and advice on topics such as:

  • Smoking Cessation

  • Cancer

  • Diabetes

  • Drug & Alcohol Dependency

  • Healthy Eating

  • Eyecare

  • Sexual Health

  • Mental Health
