Children raise cash for charity
Ellesmere Children's Centre staged a 'Wear Bright for Sight' day and raised £50 in the process for Henshaws, the leading charity for visually impaired people in the North of England.
From 11th to 15th May 'Wear Bright for Sight' encouraged people to wear their brightest, most outrageously coloured clothes to work and donate £2 toward the charity.
Staff and children at Ellesmere Children's centre donned wacky colours and had a great time while learning about people with disabilities.
Centre Manager, Sharon Curtis said:
"The children loved the whole day. It was great to be able to mix fun with learning and support a worthwhile charity at the same time."
