Building Schools for the Future
A draft planning brief has been prepared to guide the redevelopment of the Parkwood High School which will be enabled by funding through the school being awarded academy status.
The planning brief will set out the planning and design guidelines and principles for future school proposals; it will not show actual designs for the new building. The building will be designed at a later date by architects who will carry out further consultation before submitting a planning application. The brief will however show possible site layouts and arrangements that can be used by the architects, and it will identify the relevant planning policies that the development proposals must comply with.
