Northern General Parking

Tighter parking controls on streets around Norwood Rd can now be introduced, after residents raised the issue with councillors at Burngreave Area Panel.

A new “experimental” traffic regulation order around Norwood Road and Crabtree means Council officers are consulting with residents and allows them to try out various options such as yellow lines to prevent parking that blocks access to residents’ homes. Depending on how they work, they can be changed or added to.

The council is inviting requests and feedback from residents – by phone on 273 6086.
