Burngreave Study Support Apprentice

I’m out of a job next week; I’ve got nothing to do until September. I’m hoping to get on an Access Course so I can go to university. It’s worrying, I’ve tried to find another job but there aren’t any because of the credit crunch.

The job has changed my life; it’s given me another chance. I was in with the wrong crowd before this, but now I’ve got this valuable experience, I know what it’s like to have a real job.

Study Support speaks for itself, just in the number of kids who attend. We have a fantastic Manager, Diane, who goes out of her way for people. It’s been a really good experience for me working with the children – if I don’t get another job I’d like to carry on as a volunteer.
